John & Joanne
Small family owned business started by John in 2020 during COVID. Originally set out to be mainly a performance ECU tuning & remapping business, but has instead become one of the
leading names in vehicle security.
John is a fully qualified light vehicle mechanic with cert III and cert IV (further electrical diagnostics) both completed, along with further electrical courses, has Holden dealership and Volkswagen dealership courses completed, and also has his light vehicle RWC license.
During his time as an apprentice mechanic, John lost his pride and joy, a 1987 Holden VL Calais in Maroon, to theft. Since then, John started to look into vehicle security and installing them as a hobby. So naturally, it became a weekend thing, installing many different brands of vehicle security for mates and family members over a 20 year period.
Fast forward to 2021, when John found Author Alarm and was amazed by their products He was the first person to import and install their products and is now the sole Australian distributor of Author Alarm products in the country.
With times getting tough and money being hard to come by, the market for performance was noticeably dying and the rise in vehicle theft started sky-rocketing, which saw Euro Chiptuning Solutions quickly changing their main focus to vehicle security rather than vehicle performance.
John and his wife Joanne are now very well known in the vehicle security industry having saved a tremendous amount of vehicles from theft with their products, namely Commodores, and take pride in their work. They are extremely honest and will tell you exactly what security you will need for your vehicle without having to spend unnecessary amounts of money.
Euro Chiptuning Solutions are located in Tullamarine and have many solutions available in stock, ranging from pin-coded immobilisers, to GPS tracking with safe vehicle shut-down via mobile phone app.
